I know it has been a long time since I have released anything new. I am in the process of working on a non erotic book for NaNoWriMo. There is another erotica book in the works, but since I am in the middle of working on a graduate degree, an internship, and my freelance writing career, I had to put a couple of things on hold until I had some more time. I am still writing erotica, and will continue to do so. It is just taking me longer to release new content right now.

Exactly what I think.
Sorry it got a little dusty around here. I did not publish much new material in August because I was extremely busy redoing old material. I took some time to change some point of views in a couple of tales, redid pretty much every single cover and then of course made sure I ran over it all one last time to check for typos. Pretty sure I got everything where I want it now and I can hit the ground running for September. I am pretty happy that even though my new material was almost non-existent for August, I did double my sales. So - I am VERY happy with those results.
I also had to deal with some personal matters that set be back in the production department as well.
I am now challenging myself to 100 stories in a year. Since my first was published in May, I would like to have 100 total by May 2013.
Let the fun and games begin!

I am so happy that chore is finally over. I stressed over it all week. Trying to brand yourself is completely ridiculous. Thankfully my DH is pretty savy with Photoshop and once he got the signature block saved he was easily able to insert it into images. I was able to use the images I already had as covers so that was a huge help. With that sig box and new fonts my sales increased substantially overnight. I am excited to see my future as an Indie author and I am glad I finally gave up on traditional publishing houses for my pen name and myself. Best choice I ever made.

So Frustrating
So I released another book today. Yah me! I never realized just how hard all of this was going to be. I don't know why I decided to start my publishing company now when I am in the middle of a brand new job, trying to manage my freelance business AND still working on my graduate degree. I decided to go to summer school so that quite possibly I would be able to graduate next spring. *cross fingers* But trying to manage all of this is taking a toll on my life. I am mentally and physically wiped out. I cross two things off my to-do list only to add five more.
I know I have a lot going on. I have to think about what I want to do most and go from there I guess because I can't continue the way I am going.
I need to launch a marketing and social media campaign for my books and my publishing company. That is extremely important. The sales arent there the way the should be.
My family is not suffering so that is not an issue. I stop to spend time with them.
But I am suffering and my sales/businesses area.
I need to transform myself back into a social media rockstar.
